It’s been too long, Depeche Mode! The last time we saw them was in 2009 for their Tour of the Universe concert at Key Arena in Seattle. What a fun gig that was. The Global Spirit tour was pretty awesome too.

An exciting night with futurist Jason Silva at the Vogue. If you’ve been reading this little blog for a while, you’d know that I’m a fan of Jason Silva’s Shots of Awe videos. My all-time favourite being The Biological Advantage of being Awestruck.
I love street art and whenever I travel, I always try to seek out cool street art and street murals, like when I was in: San Francisco, Camden, East London, Berlin, Munich, Dresden, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Cologne. So how pleased was I when my city launched the Vancouver Mural Festival last year?
I tend to poop on Vancouver when it comes to art and culture, compared to other global cities. There is a reason why we used to be known as ‘no fun city.’ But it’s been changing in the past few years, especially when it comes to street murals.

Ah, airport hotels. I got to say I’ve started to love them when I’m traveling. First Bloc Hotel and Yotel Air at London’s Gatwick airport, And now, Citizen M Hotel at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport.
They are super convenient for me, as I’m not so good with the waking up early to catch my flight home. Having to worry about traffic or public transport snafus and getting to my flight stressed out is not a good way to fly. Citizen M is, literally, a 5 minute walk to the airport.
