New Year’s Eve At Canada Place

The downside of working in the hospitality industry is that most times you have to work stat holidays. That kinda puts a damper on celebrating said stat holidays with friends and families.

The upside? Some hotels perks, likes staying over and room service. Good thing Sean was such a good egg about it.

Snowpocalypse Comes To Vancouver

Snowpocalypse. Snowmageddon. Snowzilla. Snowcouver.

halloween at the waldorf hotel
It wasn’t so much of a haunted house. It was more like a sweat box, heaving with millennials, but that’s where my friends chose to get their spook on, so that’s where I went.

The iconic East Van institution did offer three floors of music, 5 theme rooms, a burlesque show and Polynesian tiki bar decor for the halloween festivities. But boy, did the youngsters make us feel old. Or gold.
