To quote one of Douglas Coupland’s sign in his Vancouver Art Gallery exhibition, Everywhere is Anywhere is Anything is Everything, “It’s not an illusion. Time is moving faster.”
I recently asked someone who was retired if life moved more slowly for them, now that they were no longer raising a family or no longer working. You know what their answer was? NO. Sure there had more free time, but if one fills that time with activities, the speed in which days, weeks, months and years passes remains unrelenting. Well, that’s just awesome.
