I was on my way home Monday after work but seems I couldn’t resist the allure of the bright lights on such a clear night. Walked around downtown to capture what Vancouver looks like during the winter Olympics. Prettier than usual.

    wow u found so many of those welcome signs! i only found 2.. was the chinese one in chinatown?where was it? any quatchi sightings? i have yet to find the life size qautchi roaming around van >.<

    @ peggy – that chinese welcome sign was on robson and beatty. (on way to bc place) it’s also up on robson and thurlow. i SO want to find lifesize quatchi, miga, sumi and muk muk. remember when they were in richmond library months ago for photo ops? now we can’t even find them lol. i’m taking pictures everyday, so more to come.

    @ dave – you should be up here to see all the madness! it’s like new york on a regular day. so many people downtown. the olympic mascots are way cute! i’m waiting until after the olympics when the toys will sure to be cheaper!
