Striking A Pose At Figaro

The Smart Pics photo booth that I spear-headed for opening night was a smash. Can we just say how beautiful everybody looked at Figaro? Like, “really, really, ridiculously good-looking” beautiful?

But before we got the “glam photos”, there was some testing of the photo booth before the doors opened.

My co-worker pressed start then moved out of the frame, leaving me no choice but to stand and smile like an idjit.

But my favourite photo booth pic was of Sean and me at the end of the night. Could you believe it’s our very first picture together at the opera? It’s also a birthday picture.

“Marriage of Figaro” must be close to the perfect opera. I hope that one of the “TBA” toward the end of the CBC schedule for the Saturday opera broadcasts will be a tape from Vancouver.

The smart pics photo booth was a lovely touch–people (at least those who got their picture taken–like to dress up for opening night. Cool.
