CC turns 4! Instead of going out like last year, we celebrated the little peanut’s birthday last week at mum’s.
My brother had told me CC (the girl who has everything) didn’t want anything, but when I pressed her, she said she wanted a pink pig stuffed toy she saw at Superstore.
My brother however told me that no such pink pig existed. And we went around in circles about this possible pink pig. As this was one specific thing she said she wanted, I wanted to get it for her. But Allan was certain he had never seen this stuffed toy at Superstore.
He advised if I wanted to get a present, she’s currently in the Disney princess phase. So I got her a Disney princess book and stickers, a couple of Kai-Lan books and Hello Kitty figurines.
Sean had also wanted to give CC something but after much ruling out of possible gifts (cuz she already had them), he got did get her something. A pink pig! Granted, it was not the “imaginary or not” pink pig from Superstore, but it was a real surprise when CC opened up his present.
As it was to me! (he kept it a secret) I was absolutely delighted that Sean had gone on the hunt to get her another version of the elusive pink pig.

I hope she likes the pink pig… your brother seemed confused by my spelling of Birday. That’s just how we do it where I come from.
