Halloween 2012: A Recap

That’s me, beaming like a fool because I like Halloween fun times so very much. And although we’re all getting older every year, that hasn’t stopped us from dressing up. Heck, I think adults have hijacked Halloween from the kidlets!

There are 3 for sure things I just have to do for Halloween:

1. Watch our friends, The Unlevels, play their annual gig at the Eagles Hall.
2. Even if Peggy and I head to different parties, we have to meet up.
3. And last but not least, pumpkin carving with Sean, while watching horror movies.

Here’s a pictorial recap:

Group shot after The Unlevels rocked the house. Kristina as a hot cop, Dustin as Pee-Wee Herman, Clayton as a Transformer (!), Sean as Tintin and me as an aviatrix.

I’m pretty sure it was unplanned, but Kristina and Dustin’s costume worked out purr-fectly. This could be the cop who busted Pee-Wee Herman!

The girls at Sophia’s birthday slash Halloween combo party: Katy Perry, Kiss’ Catman, Gladiator, Peacock, Aviatrix and Day of the Dead (sans face make-up that night)

More fun and merriment…

And our annual tradition: the gutting of pumpkins!  This year we took inspiration from pop culture, rather than dream up some original pumpkin faces. (there’s only so many ways one could carve triangles and pointy teeth)

How do you like my Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas and Sean’s Sloth from The Goonies?
