
Every year, my work holds its annual conference and rotates the locale between Victoria, Kelowna and Whistler. This year, I got to spend 6 days up in Whistler with my communications team. And we worked our asses off for 12-16 hours each day.
It was quite the team-bonding experience: working together in the “war room” or command central, delivering newsletters at midnight to 750+ attendees, nightly dinners, lumberjack themed fun night and awards dinner & gala.
And pimping me out for three Twitter training seminars for our attendees and chapter members. I was so busy that I didn’t even get to sit in on any of the professional development seminars.
