Camden, you’re so eye-poppingly colourful and vibrant. And I’m not just talking about the buildings, cars or telephone booths. It’s the people who live or work in the area. It was a technicolour day.

I could walk around Camden myself, in search of street art, or I could pay £10 and join Camden Street Art Tours and have them point out 100+ artworks for me. As I’m only in London for a few days, I happily signed up for the latter.
Our small group of around 10, met up outside Camden station. And then we were off on our 2 hour walking tour of London’s famous Camden neighbourhood.

After The Jam exhibit at Somerset House, I circled back to the Covent Garden area to catch the Bond in Motion exhibition at the London Film Museum.
The Bond in Motion is the official and largest exhibition of James Bond vehicles ever featured. Every vehicle on display is the original, as seen in the movies – there are no replicas here.

Don’t you love it when the stars align and things work out in your favour? ‘m talking about The Jam: About a Young Idea exhibition at Somerset House. It was extended from its original closing date of August 31 by another month! Which meant that I would be in London to check it out.
And being a huge fan of The Jam and Paul Weller, of course I would. This was going to be the first comprehensive exhibition, where all three members of The Jam opened up their personal archives and share handwritten lyrics, stage outfits, unreleased music videos, scrapbooks, fan letters, posters and their instruments. Come ON.
