Immortalized in the Ferris’s Room Documentary

OMG! I’m in the Ferris’s Room documentary! Wha?!?

My friend John pinged me to tell me that he was watching the documentary on the Hollywood Suite channel when the scene cut to me posing with Jonathan Schmock at the Ferris Fest Parade (!!!) Schmock plays the maitre d’ from Chez Quis, who snidely questions Ferris Bueller’s claim that he’s Abe Froman, the sausage king of Chicago.

And a camera man was watching and recording that moment! Pity that I don’t have that channel and can’t watch or Tivo it, but if and when the Ferris’s Room documentary goes up for sale, I’ll definitely pick it up.

Here I am with Sarah Keenlyside, the woman who recreated Ferris Bueller’s iconic bedroom at Virgin Chicago, as part of celebrations for the 30th anniversary of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
