Celebrating Our 10th Anniversary

This fella. My person, my partner in crime, my heart. They say time flies when you’re having fun. We’re celebrating 10 years (!) and it still feel like we’ve only just begun.

We opted for just a low-key dinner at The Boathouse restaurant as we’re saving our big bash celebrations on our upcoming Japan trip. Plus I still have to get through school assignments and exams.

Dinner was good (but a bit on the oily side). The atmosphere and service made up for it though. We started with the bay scallop gratin share plate, which was sauteed in garlic butter cream with asiago and cheddar cheese, served with sourdough toast.

Sean ordered the grilled wild sockeye salmon on rice with scallops and popcorn prawn with pernod beurre blanc.

I ordered the crab and lobster stuffed ravioli with roasted tomato, spinach and citrus cream, accompanied by prawns.

For dessert, we shared the mocha ice cream pie with chocolate ganache and maple almonds.

Happy annibirdsary babe. Can’t wait to celebrate 10 years with you in Japan. Love you. x
