Birthday celebrations continue!
I know it’s not been that long since I treated myself to a stay at the Loden Hotel, but since it is a milestone year and Stay Vancouver’s promotion offered a deep discount on downtown hotels, it was a no-brainer. I guess you can say this was a birthday present to myself.
It’s always nice to feel fancy, especially at my favourite Vancouver boutique hotel.
Birthday has turned into birthday month, which will most definitely turn into birthday year. Having had to shelter in place for the past couple of years has got me really itching to travel. A series of trips to mark the start of the next decade in life will be made as soon as it’s safe to do so.
Birthdays ending with 0 are noteworthy, but this is my semi-centennial or a quinquagenary if you want to get real specific, so it’s extra special because it’s marks half a century that I’ve been on earth. I must say, the mind reels.
So where is the best place for me to start year 5 0 with a bang? I want to go everywhere!
