Luna + Charlie Photo Roundup #5

One of the positives of this upside down year is that Sean and I have gotten to work from home. It’s been good for our cats and especially good for us. If and when we ever transition back to the office (the tentative timeline for me is next June), I will definitely miss all the face time and cuddle breaks with these fuzzy faces.

Canada is currently in wave 2 of COVID-19 and the numbers have increased dramatically in BC since the school season started. Although nowhere near the numbers in the US (thank the ceiling), the figures here are still worrisome. Especially when there are idjits who think it’s all a hoax, who believe and spread baseless conspiracy theories, and who participate in the anti-mask demonstrations. What the hell is wrong with these people?

New provincial health orders now include:

  • Social gatherings banned until first week of December, and likely to be extended.
  • Non-essential travel within and outside the province should be avoided.
  • Mandatory masks in indoor public spaces (about time, if you ask me)

I think it’s safe to say that there will be no family + friends fun times this Christmas, which is unfortunate of course, but bigger picture and all that. We have got to get the numbers back under control. We all need to help bend that curve back and wait for the vaccines.

Until that time, find comfort within your bubble – be it people or furry children. Sean and I are lucky to have each other and our little furballs. They make everything better and give us so much joy.

Here’s some pics to make you smile:

Continue to stay safe and take care, my friends.
