Omg! I just found out that managing director and head of Twitter Canada, Kristine Stewart, will the keynote speaker at my work’s conference in Victoria this September. So having a fangirl moment.
I was so excited that I tweeted the news and saw that she favourited my tweet! I’m so excited. Can’t wait to see her speak.
Sean’s birthday present to me this year was a stay at the L’Hermitage Hotel downtown plus dinner and movie of my choice. And even though we were technically still in Vancouver, it felt like we left town, if only for a night.

That was the theme of Sean’s niece’s wedding last weekend just outside Whistler. It was an intimate affair and the entire Brew Creek Centre, which could accommodate up to 70 guests, was booked up by all of us.

That’s just great. Wrenched my knee while I was out getting lunch. I just stepped off the sidewalk and into the intersection, when I felt the ligaments in my right knee pull. In opposing directions, it felt like.
I wasn’t even wearing heels at the time. Just flats. And my ankle was stable the whole time. Just a roll in my knee. I didn’t even trip.
But by the time I got back to the office, I couldn’t bend my knee.
I may be the one that Charlie comes to for neck cuddling, but it’s Sean who he goes to for being picked up and held. Usually in a completely horizontal position, stretched out from head to toe.
I love that they get along so well. My 2 favourite males in the world.
I wanted to send out holiday cards this year, but what with working, shopping, hosting a Christmas dinner get together and crafting ornaments for the tree, I did not get the chance.
But we did take some Xmas family portraits around said tree. Merry Chrimbus, everyone!

A first for Charlie!
Since moving into our house last year, I’ve taken Charlie outside whenever it’s sunny or cloudy, but never in the snow. Until today!
I didn’t know what to expect – would he take to it? Did he like the texture of the snow on the ground? Or how cold it must be on his paws? How about walking in it?
